Read GREEN

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!!

What better day to speak about reading GREEN. However, this is much like preaching to the choir. If you’re buying Amber Quill books, then you already know.

Kudos to all of the Amber Quill patrons who not only are on the cutting edge of technology...you deserve a pat on the back for environmentally friendly purchases. The next time someone asks what if you’re doing to save the earth make sure to mention ebooks. Mention Amber Quill.

The ebook business is growing by leaps and bounds while paper is having a more difficult time carving out a gain. At the link above, EBook Corporation LTD is projecting the ebook market to top 220 million.

And ebooks have gone mainstream with publishers worldwide jumping on the bandwagon, including many of the traditional New York publishers.

This link shows the contrast in ebook sales. The rate of increase is astounding.

As an Amber Quill customer you deserve another pat on the back for being smart cookies, many of you for several years. You recognized value, good service and the extraordinary talents of Amber Quill authors. Kudos.

Kindle has come onto the scene in the midst of mega-buzz. But I predict more and better readers on the horizon. In Japan, a projected 99 million (US) dollars was spent on mobile phone sales of ebooks for 07. I tried to find the final accounting and couldn’t. However, the message is clear. People are loving ebooks.

Now let's toast with our green beer to ebooks...and then go looking for a Cave Creek Cowboy!
